What payment community guidelines should Requesters adhere to?
Before you get started on posting a task on our app, here are the community guidelines that all requesters should adhere to:
Post tasks with fixed price
Requesters have to set a fixed price when posting a task. The price you set for your task that Taskers earn should be for the full scope of the task with no additional fees. This applies to commissioned based and time-based tasks. Tasks offering partial payment, including percentage of sales earned, referral tasks or programmes, advertising for products and services are not recommended and will be moderated.
Example 1: Commissioned based task
Task: Sales representative for my bakery business
Do: Sam posted a task to get users to market his bakery business and indicates that users will earn $50 for the entire scope of the project upon successful deal. This fits within our Guidelines.
Don’t: Sam posted a task to get users to market his bakery business and with each successful deal, he will be paying a percentage of sales from 3% to 10% depending on the project amount. Sam was notified that his description is not within our Guidelines.
Example 2: Time-based task
Task: Flyer distribution
Do: Nick posted a task which needed users to distribute flyers near MRTs and bus stops for three hours. He set a price of $30 which users can earn upon completion of tasks. This fits within our Guidelines.
Don’t: Nick posted a task which needed users to distribute flyers near MRTs and bus stops for three hours. He charged by hourly rate and did not set a fixed price for the service. Nick was advised that his description is not within our Guidelines.
Example 3: Referral task
Task: Refer client for my beauty products
Don’t: Ela posted a task which requires users to help sell beauty products in which users will get a percentage of commission depending on the type of beauty product that is sold. Ela’s post was removed because it did not fit within our Guidelines.
